Have a 24 hour a day open house
Grow your communities support and education by providing 24/7 access to your organization through the use of a virtual tour and impactful photography.
Tour A Station
Experience the Duxbury Fire Department (DXFD) through an immersive 3D Virtual Tour. Initially implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic as an alternative to in-person open houses, the 3D tour has proven to be an invaluable resource. It provides continuous access for those unable to attend open houses and allows potential visitors to explore the fire station from the comfort of their own homes, even before attending the annual October open house.

A virtual tour is a simulation of an existing location. Viewers are able to walk through the space as if they were really in the location.
Mattertags are the little circles in the virtual tour. The Mattertags are used to communicate additional information about the space. which can be done by adding photography, videos, text, or links.
We don't teach Social Media classes however Chief Rob Reardon does. His class focuses on Social Media for public service organizations. You can contact him at www.robreardon.com.
The time it takes to create a virtual tour depends on the size of a space. A 1 -3 room space normally takes 2 hours to create.
Viewers can access the virtual tour from your website which would be showcased on your organization's website.
Before recording please make sure the space is clean and all proprietary information is covered. Also once recording starts nothing in the space can move so if recording an apparatus bay the ideal time is when calls are normally at their lowest volume.
